PayPal(s ebay) is bringing its Here mobile payments service to the U.K., but its familiarly shaped triangular card reader will not be making the journey over the Atlantic. Instead PayPal is launching a new device that better fits the point-of-sale policies of Europe: a card reader with a numeric keypad for entering a key code.
Rather than fit into the headphone jack of a smartphone, the new reader pairs to the an iPhone or Android device via Bluetooth.

How to become a thought leader
Presently the buzz on social media is all about owning and creating content and then using this to become a thought leader to create and secure a strong brand. Then you utilize the brand to build influence, and the influence to drive profits through increased sales.
I think you’ll see this trend continue for 18 months until people realize what creating content is really all about, but obviously I’m not going to put that in print here. You’ll have to get to know me better and create a relationship with me to secure that trust ;-)
A few words that could make your life as blessed as mine.

President Obama just concluded a group interview with a handful of bloggers on Google+. The 40-minute follow-up to the State of the Union covered a broad range of new issues: drones, Mark Zuckerberg, patent trolls, immigrant gay rights, gun control, the distribution of wealth, and even why the president is so "chill." More than any interview I've seen in recent memory, the Google+ hangout gave a deeper insight into his own philosophy and process, even if it was when he deliberately dodged questions.
