We've been waiting for these to come in, and now they are here. We are talking about the MOVA Solar Powered Spinning Globes!

These globes sit on their base and with just a little bit of light will spin. If you pick up the globe it will still spin! Put it on the table and it continues to spin! There is no cord, no batteries, and really odd is no obvious solar cells.

You may have heard about the crazy meteor that shattered windows with its sonic boom this morning. Well, an asteroid's passing Earth now, and NASA is livestreaming its progress.

The asteroid, known as 2012 DA14, is set to fly very close to Earth -- it will come within 17,200 miles of us today. Experts say that while the asteroid will not hit Earth, it's one of the first asteroids this big to come this close to our planet.

China has long been the world's supplier of low-cost solar panels, and now it's a major market for them, too. According to research firm NPD's SolarBuzz report, in the last quarter of 2012 China bought up 33 percent of the world's solar panel supply.

In contrast, two years prior China accounted for less than 10 percent of the world's solar panel sales.
